1. I think my most successful artwork was my tile. It looks the neatest and it has least amount of mistakes out of all my other projects. 2. I felt I overcame most obstacles when I was creating my box. I had lots of trouble scoring and slipping all the slabs together. The slabs weren't staying together but then I realized I wasn't scoring and slipping right. I also had trouble with the lid of the box. After I cut out the lid, a piece broke off on the lid so when I put it back together with the bottom part it didn't look right. So I just put glaze over where the piece broke off so it wouldn't be that noticeable. 3. I think my tile and my box show my growth as an artist because they show that I am thinking more about what I do with my projects and I'm coming up with better ideas. 4. I love working with clay only. The only thing that frustrates me is scoring and slipping. When I score and slip, the pieces for some reason never stay together. The positives thing that comes from working with one material is that I get to learn a lot and get a lot better at working with it. |
