1. Which artwork was your mot successful?
My most successful artwork was my bowl. I was able to make it out of coils with no problems. I rolled out each coil to about the same length and put them on top of each other and smoothed them out, making the bowl taller until I reached the height that I preferred. Everything worked out as I planned.

2. Discuss one project where you felt you overcame the most obstacles?
The project I did that I did where i had to overcome obstacles is my monkey artwork. Building the body and the head was very tough for me. I did not understand how to shape them. I also forgot to mist the monkey so it dried up. I had to cover the monkey in wet paper towels over one weekend so I could be able to work on it. Another mistake I did was not hollowing out the body, this caused the body split in half when it was in the kiln.
3. What 2 pieces show your growth as an artist?
The two pieces that show my growth as an artist is my monkey and my mask artworks. While doing both projects, I had to overcome many obstacles and it was very tough. I think my creativity level has improved tremendously. While doing both of these, my thinking process of how to improve the artworks was better. I thought of things that I would have never done before in the previous years.
4 . I am glad the class has changed to this kind of format. I like the choice of doing what kind of artwork I want to do because If the teacher assigned something I would not like, I would find no enjoyment in working on the artwork and this would lead to the artwork not being made with much effort. There are many positives when working like this. Students would actually put forth effort and the quality of the artworks are better. I do not see any negatives when working like this.
