Artist Solve Problems - After each time I would be done working on my artwork for the day, I would wrap it up so it would not dry up. After one weekend, when I came back to school, my artwork was really dry. I realized there was multiple holes in the plastic wrapping. It was difficult to work with the clay and I could not score and slip anything on it. I decided to spray lots of water onto the artwork until it was completely soaked. I then wrapped my artwork with plastic wrapping that had no holes and I used clips to make sure no air would touch the clay. Artist Take Risk - To make my artwork look scarier, I thought of an idea to carve out holes in my mask to make it look like the eyeballs were hanging out of the socket. I had no idea how it would look, but I still carved out the holes. I was very anxious because once i carved it, there was the possibility of messing up my artwork. |
